Xero Tax (formerly Instafile) needs you
Following Xero’s acquisition of Instafile in November 2018, we’re pleased to announce its new name: Xero Tax.
We’re working to integrate the product seamlessly into Xero, and that includes the name. So, going forward, all communications relating to what was once Instafile will now be Xero Tax.
We’re really excited that Xero Tax will automate the process of tax filing and financial reporting by connecting Xero directly to UK compliance bodies, including HMRC.
The product is currently in beta testing and that’s where you come in…
Help us build the right product for you
Beta testing is an opportunity for us to gather your feedback so we can continue improving Xero Tax before it’s officially rolled out to everyone.
We’re really grateful to those of you who have already registered their interest in the Xero Tax beta.
We’ve started working with a small group of Xero partners to test and improve key features, for the live submission of micro-entity accounts and corporation tax filings.
And in the next few months, we’ll open this up to all partners that have registered. To learn more, take a look at this short product demo.
Sign up to the Xero Tax beta
To register your interest for the Xero Tax beta, all you need to do is email uktax@xero.com and we’ll take it from there. Please remember only those on the Xero partner programme can join.
We’re also emailing a short questionnaire to registered partners to help us with the beta release schedule. If this is you, it’ll land in your inbox this April.
Next steps
Xero Tax is made up of various different filing functions, which we’ll be building and testing later in the year. This includes self-assessment returns for individuals and partnerships.
To help us build the right solution, we’ll need your help for these features too – so please keep an eye out and check out our website for more on Xero Tax.
Visit the Xero Tax page regularly for updates on development plans, product demos and webinars. If you have additional questions please contact your account manager.
