What to expect from Xero’s first digital Refresh event
This series of Refresh will be a different one: we’re going digital.
We want to give our accounting and bookkeeping partners in regional Australia the chance to hear the latest educational content from their Xero account managers. However due to social distancing restrictions, we will be connecting online, so you can take part from the comfort of your desk, couch or wherever you like.
We’ll be using Zoom to host Refresh digitally this year. To ensure security and privacy for attendees, all our webinars will be password protected. Be sure to download the Zoom app before the event and follow the steps on the registration page.
What will I learn at Refresh?
This year we’ve split the content into two main sessions, which will run for a total of two hours. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions. Here’s what we will be covering:
Session #1: Conquering compliance
Start the day with our top tips to streamline tax compliance for 2020 – including our best Xero Tax setup and conversion tips, and Document Packs in Xero HQ. We’ll also touch on tools to assist with the federal government stimulus, how to streamline your tax planning, and cash flow processes for the upcoming new financial year.
Session #2: Set your clients up for success
We’ll cover tips like onboarding clients and services available to you as a Xero partner, including Hubdoc, so you can make sure your clients are all working seamlessly with Xero. Then we will cover all things Xero Payroll including our top superannuation tips and how we’re able to help you and your clients with the latest information on JobKeeper.
Who will be speaking at my local event?
Our account managers will be taking part in these sessions with the help of our partner consultant team. If you don’t see them on screen presenting, then they will be online ready to help answer any questions.
When is Refresh this year?
There will be a morning and afternoon session across the following days for each state:
Victoria / Tasmania – 19 and 28 May
New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory – 22 and 27 May
Queensland – 20 and 29 May
Western Australia – 26 May
South Australia & Northern Territory – 21 May
I’m in! Where do I sign up?
You can register for your local Refresh here, but there is a limited number of spots and these sessions won’t be recorded, so be sure to get in quick.
See you there!
