Single Touch Payroll advisory badge: get ready and recognised

With Single Touch Payroll (STP) now a reality for Australian small businesses of all sizes, and the 1 July 2019 deadline for business owners to start reporting just months away, it’s time to get your clients STP ready.

What is STP?

Single Touch Payroll is an initiative from the ATO to encourage regular salary reporting. Under STP, employers are required to report salaries and wages, PAYG withholding tax, and superannuation, every time they pay their employees.

What next?

Once you’ve completed these three requirements, the STP Ready badge will be added to your Advisor Directory listing and to the listing for your practice within five working days.

Good luck! We hope you enjoy the STP education experience and helping your clients take this exciting step into our digital future.
