Say goodbye to the time consuming burden of completing P11Ds for your clients – and save money by setting up payrolling of benefits in kind (PBiK) in Xero. 

This feature includes car and van benefits at no extra cost, so for all those benefit clients that can be payrolled you’ll no longer need additional P11D software.

We recommend you work with your clients to get them registered as soon as possible. HMRC’s deadline for registration is 5th April – find out more here.

2. Accurately set up pensions with our improved pensions workflow

Now available to all payroll organisations, our improved workplace pension onboarding experience provides you with a simple three-step wizard helping you set up client accounts accurately. 

In addition, our direct connections with NEST and The People’s Pension make it easier to manage multiple payroll clients, automatically retrieving the client’s scheme settings for you and reducing the chance of data entry errors. 

3. Set up client’s employees in one go with our improved bulk upload tool

Our bulk upload tool lets you drag and drop the details of your client’s employees in one go to support faster client conversion.

We’ve also added opening balances, allowing you to phase your conversions and start bringing clients across before the start of the new payroll year.

4. Speed up employee payments with Faster Payments

If you want to offer your clients a faster way to pay their employees than BACs, use our new Faster Payments output file. We’ve already seen thousands of downloads, with our customers taking advantage of this feature.

5. It’s the small things that count

Don’t forget to take advantage of some of these awesome updates. 

Xero payroll connects to the most popular scheduling apps like Deputy, making it even easier for your clients to manage their staff. 

With Deputy, you can sync all of the key employee information and pay rates for all of your clients’ employees, saving you and your clients even more time than before – all the while retaining the utmost accuracy. 

We continue to help make sure you get your RTI filings right, the first time, through improved validation of employee NI numbers. Improved status messages also help you action any queries on submissions.
