Learning is now live in Xero Central
Over the past year, we’ve been creating a brand new learning platform and certification experience, based on your feedback about what you want and need to build your Xero expertise. Today we’re very excited to announce that Xero Central is your new home for learning.
Learning joins support, discussions and cases in Xero Central to give you a one-stop hub that’s so much easier, personalised and rewarding to use.
A new place to grow and show off your Xero knowledge
As a Xero partner, you want to stay up-to-date with the latest Xero products and features to help your practice and clients do beautiful business with confidence.
The new learning experience makes it easy and inspiring to build your skills on an ongoing basis. From this one place, you can see, sign up for and complete all your online courses, live events, webinars, Xero certifications and quarterly product updates. Your certifications and badges will also appear in your Xero Central profile. We’re working towards showcasing these so other people in the Xero community can see your expertise and trust your answers when you get involved across the platform.

When you go to Xero Central, you’ll see a brand new learning tab. There, you’ll find featured courses, events and webinars, and you can search for anything you’d like to become more confident with. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see recommended courses personalised to you.
Go into ‘My learning’ to see your badges and certifications, print your certificates, and check any expiry dates. In the coming weeks you’ll be able to see your in-progress courses and manage any live events or webinars you’ve registered for.
A new certification expiry date
It’s easier to know if your certifications are up to date because we’ve moved all certification expiry dates to one universal date, 12 December. You’ll see your expiry dates when you log in to Xero Central and navigate to ‘My learning’.
There’s no need to worry about credits anymore – just complete the quarterly product updates in February, May, August and November each calendar year to maintain your certification and be recognised with a new annual product update badge on your Xero Central profile. If you fall behind or your certification expires, simply complete the updates you’ve missed to get back on track.
