Highlights from UK Xero Roadshow 2019

Xero’s 2019 Roadshow series has come to an end. For six weeks, we travelled up and down the country hosting 12 roadshows in 11 cities – including brand new locations.

We caught up with nearly 3,000 Xero partners

We caught up with nearly 3,000 of our partners; from Xero veterans who never miss our gigs to new partners who attended for the first time. We want to thank all of you for making this year’s Roadshow as big as Xerocon London 2018 (in terms of attendees).

We partnered with Fluidly and GoCardless

For the first time ever we joined forces with two headline app partners Fluidly and GoCardless. They travelled with us to every location and were invited on stage to offer insight into the importance of healthy cash flow for your clients

Fluidly and GoCardless also hosted two great breakfast events in Birmingham and Edinburgh. And to celebrate their first Roadshow series, they’ve organised a gin tasting experience where they hosted Xero partners with tasty gin and invaluable cash flow insight.

We were delighted to be joined by a number of other app partners. After all, Xero is only as powerful as the information you connect with.

We dedicated this year’s theme to cash flow

Cash flow is a theme close to the heart of Xero because it’s a topic of real relevance to business owners and a potential service line that many of you can offer. To help you master your cash flow game, we dedicated an entire session to cash flow equipping you with the right information and powerful tools to ensure you succeed in this key advisory area.

We had a surprise visit from Dexter

Dexter, our Making Tax Digital mascot, took time out of his busy schedule to join us at the London Roadshow.

Dexter wanted to remind our partners that the deadline for filing monthly VAT returns under Making Tax Digital was 7 June 2019 as well as ensure they’re aware of the next key date – 7 August 2019 for those who file quarterly.

Once the serious stuff was out of the way, Dexter couldn’t resist the opportunity to take selfies with our partners.

We loved it so much, so we’re doing it all again

There are so many product updates, marketing tips, cash flow apps and news to share that we decided to bring the UK Roadshows online.
