Celebrating success: 31 Xero partners and Xeros recognised in the Women In Accounting Top 50
The lights of 31 Xero partners and team members shone even more brightly today as they were celebrated in the Women in Accounting Top 50 shortlist, released on International Women’s Day.
The nominations called for mentors, leaders and changemakers as a means to celebrate females making an impact across the global accounting community. “In this time of rapid change and innovation in the accounting and bookkeeping industry, we want to take some time to celebrate the outstanding women leading the charge on #IWD2019,” the team at Practice Ignition said of its awards, run in partnership with AccounTEK Global. “This is a fitting day to celebrate incredible women doing awesome things in our industry.”
Xero’s Chief Product and Partner Officer, Anna Curzon, and Head of Community for Australia, Amanda Newton, joined the ranks of special women nominated by colleagues and friends for the work they do in their respective company and communities around the world.
From the entire team here at Xero, congratulations to everyone who has been recognised this year. Your expertise and unique contributions make our industry what it is – a thriving, supportive, diverse and evolving community that we are proud to be a part of.
