Become a Xero champion faster by using Xero for your own books

We’re always working to make the Xero partner program more useful and relevant to your firm – no matter the size of your practice, number of clients you have, or desire to grow your business. That’s why we’re pleased to share this update about Xero champion status criteria.

Xero champions gain recognition and rewards in addition to those you get for your bronze, silver, gold or platinum status, including being seen by more prospective clients on the Xero advisor directory.

We’ve recently changed the criteria for becoming a champion after listening to feedback from many accountants and bookkeepers. Now we’re recognising Xero partners for using Xero everywhere throughout your practice as well as for the amazing work you do to help your clients’ businesses grow. You too can become a Xero champion by meeting these criteria:

You’ve been a Xero partner for 12 months and have bronze status and
You’ve got at least two Xero certifications (with one being the Xero advisor certification) and
You earn the required number of partner points over 12 months (10 for bronze, 20 for silver, gold, and platinum)
or
(NEW) you actively use Xero for your own books.

This change means that a number of partners will now be champions and you’ll see your new status in Xero HQ.
