Add Day Xero to your schedule at Xerocon San Diego

If two days of Xerocon just aren’t enough for you, Day Xero is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the practice platform, and learn new business skills to elevate your firm. Taking place on June 17th, the Monday before Xerocon, Day Xero (formerly known as Pre-con) is a unique opportunity to connect with your peers and round out your Xerocon experience with a variety of learning and development opportunities for your practice. Xero leadership will start the day with a keynote speech, followed by a panel discussion with a number of our partners. After that, you can participate in a variety of sessions by registering for Day Xero here.

Full day sessions

Running from 11:00am – 5:30pm, these sessions are focused on taking a deep dive into the Xero platform to help you to better understand how our tools are designed to make your firm more efficient. In “Accelerate,” you’ll learn what it takes to grow a successful practice, and will work with your account manager to assemble an actionable business plan for the year. The “Owning Automation” session will show you how to use Xero and Hubdoc’s technology and system tools to create integrated bookkeeping workflows. You’ll leave with an action plan to help you gain a competitive edge and add more value to your clients.

Half day sessions

The variety of sessions allow you to create your own agenda for the day, letting you focus on what matters most to your practice. Tracks include: “Marketing your Practice,” where you can learn the latest in strategies and channels to successfully promote your business, and “Client Conversions and Onboarding,” which provides you with a step-by-step guide to moving your clients onto Xero.

You also have the option to select from four shorter sessions:

Change Management – explore what is needed to ensure your staff is on board and prepared to support your vision of success.
Key Performance Indicators – determine how to use KPIs to establish baseline metrics for your clients, set business goals, create action plans, and measure progress.
Engaging and Retaining Talent Management – a how-to guide for attracting and retaining a diverse workforce that’s right for your business.
Succession Planning – we’ll answer the big questions about organic growth, mergers and acquisitions as well as employee and family ownership.

We’ll provide plenty of time for you to network, including casual conversation or small group discussions during lunch. Also, snacks will be provided throughout the day to help you keep your energy up.

The day wraps up with a happy hour on the terrace of the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp – exclusive for Day Xero participants.
