A cheat sheet to Xero Roadshow Asia 2019

Xero Roadshow Asia 2019 is just around the corner – and we’re so pumped to be bringing it to you in 3 cities this year – Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. It’s going to be Asia’s biggest one yet, hosting close to 2,000 accountants and bookkeepers from around the region. 

There’s going to be a lot going on this roadshow, so ensure you do the following to make the most of it:

Document your roadshow objectives 

What are you hoping to get out of Xero Roadshow Asia? First dibs on the latest Xero features and announcements? Discover new Xero add-on apps? Build connections with other Xero partner firms? Whatever your objectives, keep them on top of mind and come to Xero Roadshow with a plan of attack!

Register for Pre-show events

We’ve partnered with our app partners this year to organise Pre-show events that will enhance your Xero Roadshow experience. Pre-show events are fringe events that have been put together by Xero app partners before roadshow, and provides a workshop-style, intimate experience for you to learn more about Xero apps and how they can help your practice and clients. Pre-show events take place one day before Xero Roadshow in each city:

Lookout for exhibitor demos at the App Pitch Stage

This year’s Xero Roadshow features an App Pitch Stage on the expo floor where you can watch your favourite Xero partner apps in action. App pitches and demonstrations take place at the App Pitch Stage during break times. No registration is required. Keep a lookout for the following pitch sessions:

Arrive early for your expo hall game card – and stand a chance to win prizes!

Early-birds catch the worm at Xero Roadshow. Arrive before 12:45pm to receive your expo hall game card. Visit our exhibitor booths to collect stamps, which can be used to redeem game tokens for a chance to win premium Xero merchandise, such as our messenger tote bag, and more!

Watch out for the Pacesetters

We’ve brought the prestigious Xero Awards to Asia for the first time. 24 finalists have been shortlisted for our Accounting Partner of the Year and Emerging Accounting Partner of the Year awards. The winners will be announced at Xero Roadshow Asia – stay on for the awards ceremony and celebrate our winners!

Set up your social media accounts

The best thing about Xero Roadshow is the community – and by attending you get to meet 2,000 other like-minded accountants and bookkeepers who are with you on the cloud journey. Set up your social media accounts ahead of the roadshow so you can instantly connect with the people you meet. It’s the easiest way to stay in touch! We also encourage you to share your learnings with the #xeroroadshow hashtag. Now get your selfie game on!

Bring everyone from your team 

Whether you run your own practice, serve clients, or do the day-to-day accounting (or all of the above!) – Xero Roadshow has something for you. Many of our accounting and bookkeeping partners bring their entire team to every Xero Roadshow because it’s a great way to learn, and one of the best ways to get everyone aligned on the cloud journey. Spots are filling fast, so be sure to send this on to your team!

Know your account manager and meet the Xero team

Do you know your account manager? For many of our partners around Asia, Xero Roadshow is the opportunity for you to finally meet face-to-face with their account manager and the rest of the Xero team. While we love technology, it can never beat an in-person interaction! Roadshows can get very busy, so be sure to connect with your account manager in advance and arrange a time and place to meet. 

Know your way!

Xero Roadshow Malaysia takes place on 6 November at Ex8 Building in Subang Jaya. The nearest LRT station is SS15 where you will have to take a taxi after (approximately 3km away by car). Ex8 is located at No. 3, Jalan SS 13/4, which is just 700 metres off the New Pantai Expressway. It is also served by the KESAS Expressway. Limited parking spaces are available at Ex8 on a first-come-first-served basis. Limited outside parking is also available.

Xero Roadshow Singapore takes place on 13 November at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in Suntec City. The nearest MRT stations are Esplanade (Exit A), Promenade (Exit C) or City Hall (through Citylink Mall and then Esplanade Exchange). The theatre is a 3-minute walk away from Esplanade station (Exit A), 5-minute walk away from Promenade station (Exit C) and 10-minute walk away from City Hall station.

Xero Roadshow Hong Kong takes place on 21 November at the InterContinental Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui. The nearest MTR station is Tsim Sha Tsui. Exit via J2 at East Tsim Sha Tsui where the venue will only be a 2-minute walk away.
