The Xero NZ Roadshow has arrived!

We’re back bigger than ever with this year’s NZ Roadshow, travelling from Whangarei to Invercargill, visiting 18 locations across the country. We’re hosting 39 awesome events that are tailored to accountants, bookkeepers and small businesses. We’ve also got a new event for agri businesses this year.

The Roadshow is always so much fun for the Xero team. We love meeting people and sharing some great tips for accountants, bookkeepers and small businesses to learn more about Xero.

We’ve changed a few things this year, including adding more events so more people get the chance to join us.

What can you expect?

We’ve focused on creating relevant and engaging content for your entire practice. This means everyone who attends – whether a recent graduate or a partner – can get the most out of the day.

In the morning, you’ll find out what Xero is doing in NZ and around the globe. Listen to our latest platform and product update, and learn more about Xero Central. Give your mind a break in between sessions and compete with your workmates in one of our giant games!

In the afternoon, you’ll have a choice between attending one of two sessions. The session ‘Working in the practice’ is designed for those using the Xero platform on a daily basis. These interactive sessions will focus on how to best use Xero tools. Discover how you can use Xero within your practice and to empower clients to manage their business more effectively.

The adjacent session ‘Working on the practice’ will be better suited to those focused on strategy, people and process. Join like-minded advisors and explore ways to future proof your practice. Identify how to do more with less, as well as a look at business strategies and sustainability.

If you’re a small business, come along to one of the evening sessions. Here you’ll learn how Xero can help you spend less time on your accounts, and more time doing what you love. We know how busy you are, so if you can’t make it, drop in anytime between 9am-4pm at any of these locations to chat to a Xero expert.

Growing a beautiful future together

We’ve made a conscious effort to minimise our impact on the environment with this year’s Roadshow. All prizes are sourced from our local customers and are designed to last forever. The Roadshows are plastic-free. We will be using compostable coffee cups as well as a compostable rubbish bin at every location.

For our breakout sessions, attendees will receive workbooks printed on 100% recycled paper verified by the FSC label.

Where possible we have digital versions of our brochures, and any hard copies have been printed on FSC recycled paper. At the end of each day, we will collect and reuse lanyards, unless of course you’d like to keep yours as a souvenir.
