Xero HQ Payroll and Xero HQ BAS coming to Australia soon!
Soon, the days of tracking client compliance requirements across different spreadsheets, paper task lists, or individual files will be a thing of the past.
As announced at Xerocon Brisbane by Anna Curzon, Xero’s chief product officer, Xero partners in Australia will soon get an aerial view of upcoming client work in one place: Xero HQ.
This aerial view of your compliance work across your entire client base will give you visibility and insight like never before, and you won’t have to check each client file one-by-one to know what’s going on!
Several years back we introduced you to the Activity Feed in Xero HQ. That was our first iteration of helping surface upcoming work and alerts to put you in the driver’s seat with your clients around compliance needs.
These new areas will let you see further into the future than the current Activity Feed and will eventually replace certain Activity Feed alerts that relate to each compliance task. For example, once Xero HQ Payroll is live, payroll alerts will be removed from the Activity Feed.
You’ll be able to easily organise and filter views, track out-of-the-ordinary details, and directly click on a link, taking you to the right place to complete the work in the client’s organisation. You can also choose how to best see and use this information – either on-screen or as a CSV export. The first new Xero HQ areas will be:
- Xero HQ Payroll – gain oversight of all your Payroll work (available later this year)
- Xero HQ BAS – all your upcoming BAS work will be in this one place, with handy insights and direct links to the work in the client’s organisation (available next year)
Putting you in the driver’s seat
We’re looking forward to giving you this in-depth access to your clients’ compliance work and better insight into their businesses. While we’re starting with Australia and the UK (Xero HQ VAT was just made live last week), we’ll be rolling out these new areas to more regions in the future and will keep you posted on when they’re available for you.
