How app partners can make the most of Xero’s new app marketplace
Xero’s sleek redesign of our app marketplace makes it easier than ever for advisors and small businesses to discover and choose the apps they need to optimise how their business runs.
These updates put the power in the hands of our app partners, enabling them to control what Xero customers see to win them over. Here’s a quick look at what our new app marketplace offers:
A ground up redesign and new UI
Now it’s easier for SMBs to use and explore Xero-integrated apps. We’ve redesigned app partner tiles, optimising them for the perfect elevator pitch. You’ll also find a more beautiful journey in searchability and overall design.
Better discoverability and search
Our keyword search has been greatly improved. Now users can filter their searches by industry and app function, providing them with the most relevant options for finding integrations. App partners can speak with their Developer Evangelists to see what industry might best fit them.
Self service for app partners
This is a big deal for our app partners. Now you can log in and update the copy and video URL as you like. The power is in your hands. These changes will update within 30 minutes, so there’s no more logging tickets.
To edit your page, log into developer.xero.com, click on My Apps, select the app you want to edit, and click the Marketplace tab.
Xero’s app marketplace drives referrals to our app partners. We encourage you to test, edit and iterate to get your best results.
Featured apps on the homepage
All of our Preferred and Recommended app partners have a chance to appear as one of the four apps at the top of the homepage. To find out more about how to become a Preferred or Recommended partner check out our app partner programme.
