Kiwi businesses give Xero the thumbs up

At Xero our purpose is to make life better for small businesses, and it’s amazing any time we hear from our customers that we are achieving this for them.

So, I was stoked when Canstar Blue announced that Xero has won the New Zealand Small Business Accounting Software Award for 2019, based on us achieving the highest overall customer-satisfaction ratings. We were rated five stars for overall satisfaction and it was found that the biggest drivers were value for money and functionality.

Canstar Blue is a customer satisfaction research and ratings business aimed at helping consumers make better purchasing decisions. They run an annual independent survey which speaks to hundreds of small businesses across New Zealand to provide a benchmark of quality for accounting software. This is the first time that this award has been given in New Zealand.

“This is a great achievement by Xero,” says Jose George, General Manager of Canstar. “Xero is meeting the demand by small business owners for great value for money from their accounting software, along with quality service and advice. Xero scored a very impressive five stars on each of our seven drivers of customer satisfaction.”

Each day we throw ourselves into better understanding the challenges and opportunities that small businesses face, with the purpose of developing technology that can make their lives easier. We are heavily invested in their success and know that our platform streamlines a lot of the time-consuming processes associated with accounting and compliance. It’s absolutely brilliant to see that others recognise this too.

We also know that our job is by no means done, so we look forward to continuing to make the lives of people in small business better every day.
