Introducing: Xero to Mailchimp

We’re excited to announce Xero’s new Xero to Mailchimp integration. Now accountants, bookkeepers and small businesses can connect their Xero and Mailchimp accounts to unify their contact data and their marketing efforts.

We know small businesses are time poor, and the last thing you want to be doing is dealing with spreadsheets and CSV files of contacts and email addresses. Setting up email lists takes time, and needs constant attention and configuration. We think your time is better spent doing what you’re best at and what you love.

With Xero to Mailchimp you can use your time wisely, removing painful tasks and making the most of the data and information of your records in Xero. Make connecting with your contacts in email or across social media a breeze thanks to the Xero to Mailchimp integration.

Trust your data

Making sure you’ve got your contacts updated in Mailchimp can be tricky. The Xero to Mailchimp app keeps your records and contacts up-to-date, with any changes to a contact’s email address in Xero being reflected in your mailing lists within Mailchimp automatically.

It’s easy to set up thanks to a set of default mappings between your contacts in Xero and Mailchimp. All you need to do is create the mailing list in Mailchimp, and the integration walks you through the simple steps before doing all the importing for you.

How to install

With Xero to Mailchimp available in all regions, it’s easy to get started as long as you’ve got a Xero premium subscription and a Mailchimp subscription. When you’re logged into Xero, simply select App marketplace and connect the two apps. Choose the Mailchimp list you want to synchronise with Xero, and that’s it. All future updates in Xero to new or existing contacts will be reflected in Mailchimp.

If you want to upgrade your Xero subscription to the premium plan so you can use the Mailchimp app, you can do it in Xero.
