Hubdoc is looking for the Top 50 Cloud Accountants of 2018

Xero and Hubdoc have always shared a passion for building solutions that help accountants and bookkeepers find new ways to add value to their clients and build even more successful, modern practices. Since joining the Xero family in August, our joint mission has come into even sharper focus.

We were thrilled to join with the Xero team at recent Roadshows across the US and Canada. These events gave us a chance to meet one-on-one with accountants and bookkeepers, to understand their needs, and think about how we can build even better solutions together. The Roadshows were also a reminder of the incredible work that accountants and bookkeepers are doing in their communities.

This is why I’m particularly excited to announce that Hubdoc is now officially accepting applications for this year’s Top 50 Cloud Accountants of 2018. The Hubdoc Top 50 is a recognition program designed to celebrate forward-thinking advisors in North America and Australia who are embracing cloud accounting and bookkeeping technology. The list highlights firms in each region (and those leading their teams) to celebrate their passion for using automation to better serve their small business clients.

This recognition program plays an important role in identifying firms that the community can learn from and be inspired by – no matter how long they’ve been in business, how early they adopted cloud technology or how many clients they serve. It is also important to note that advisors do not need to be Xero or Hubdoc partners to be considered for the list.

Past winners have shown that there’s no ‘right way’ to build a cloud technology stack. The firms that make the list use a variety of automation tools, but more importantly, they choose tools that help them keep their people – clients and employees – at the forefront of their business.

In addition to providing basic information about your firm and your cloud accounting technology stack, this year’s application asks advisors to answer three questions:

What is your firm’s mission?
Please share one story from the past year showcasing how you were able to make a difference in a client’s life with the help of cloud technology.
What’s one goal/project you wish to accomplish next year with the help of cloud technology?

Applicants have the opportunity to answer the questions in writing or in a video. Regardless of format, advisors are encouraged to be specific in their answers and allow their passion to shine through.
