Xero Officially Opens New Americas HQ in Downtown Denver

Denver is an amazing place to live and work. It’s one of the reasons why Xero’s Americas HQ is based in the city. Today, we’re thrilled to announce the official opening of our new office in Downtown Denver. The relocation furthers our commitment to helping grow the city’s thriving technology scene and allows for our future growth in the Americas.

We have officially moved in to the top floor of the brand new Circa Building on Platte Street in Lower Highland as the flagship tenant. As we continue to grow our presence in North America, the 30,000-square-foot space will enable us to house around 300 employees in Denver.

Not only does the new Downtown location increase our visibility as a vibrant tech leader and facilitate access to great talent, it puts us in the heart of the small business community. Here, we can contribute to this essential part of the local economy, and the accountants and bookkeepers who help it thrive.

We’re joining a score of high-growth tech companies expanding their footprints in Denver, including our strategic partner, Gusto. We recently announced that Gusto will be Xero’s preferred payroll provider for our US small business customers and accounting partners. We’re excited to be in close proximity to our partners like Gusto and to collaborate even more closely.

Gusto’s Head of Denver Engineering, Jeremy Thomas, has welcomed us to the neighborhood.

“Like our partner Xero, we chose to build an urban campus in Denver because we wanted to be located at the center of technological innovation in Colorado,” said Jeremy. “We’re excited to welcome Xero as Downtown neighbors as they share our values and commitment to supporting small businesses and the local community.”

Key features of the new Circa Building on Platte Street include a reservable multi-function event space, common outdoor seating area and mezzanine social space. The office space itself is complete with the modern features Xero’s workplaces are known for worldwide including an espresso machine, ping pong table and putting green.

The new office employs activity-based working, where employees choose a work area that suits them based on any given day or task at hand. Rather than assigned seating, our people have the option to choose from quiet spaces for phone calls and focused work, rooms for virtual and in-person meetings, collaboration areas such as booths or flexi tables or a desk in their team’s ‘neighborhood’.

Surrounded by LoDo and the Highlands, the building is centrally located at the base of the pedestrian bridge to the Highlands. A seven-minute walk to Union Station, the location provides easy access to the Pepsi Centre, Coors Field, Platte River North Bike Trail, Commons Park and the West Side Line.

Tami Door, President and CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership, has also welcomed us to the neighborhood.
