Clock in and out with the new timer for Xero Projects on mobile

Keeping track of the time you spend on jobs and projects is vital to ensuring that you maintain reliable records of your work. Record your time poorly – or in a worst-case scenario, not at all – and you risk leaving money on the table when it comes to invoicing.

With the release of the new timer in Xero Projects for iOS and Android, you can now easily record your time in a few simple taps.

Focus on your work, not tracking it

Because the Xero Projects timer is available right within the mobile app, you can easily clock in and clock out and as you begin and finish jobs.

Simply open the mobile app on your chosen device, choose the time option from within the Timesheets screen and select “Start timer”.

Use the timer like a stopwatch; start it, pause it if you need to take a break and resume it when you’re ready to keep working. And, there’s no need to unlock your phone to do all this! Just swipe right on your iPhone or pull down your notification tray on your Android to access your timer while your screen is locked.

Xero Projects for mobile syncs directly with your records in Xero. So you can be safe in the knowledge that all of your time is always recorded accurately. And those back in the office can see time being recorded as and when it happens.
