Xero HQ – Wrap & Warp speed ahead
Almost a year ago, we first presented Xero HQ at Xerocon South – to huge excitement from our partners. A lot can happen in a year, so as we approach 12 months since that first glimpse, we wanted to show you everything we’ve been working on since then.
The vision for Xero HQ hasn’t changed. It’s designed to fuel your practice and your client services. We’re thrilled with what we’ve built, and we can’t wait to share the finished product with you when we officially launch our app integrations in just over a month at this year’s Xerocon Melbourne – 12-13 September, 2017.
If you’ve already jumped into Xero HQ, you’ll have an idea of some of what we’ve been working on. If you haven’t tried it yet – or you’ve only dipped your toes in – there’s already a lot to experience.
So what does Xero HQ mean for you and your practice?
With everything in one place, there are huge efficiency gains for your firm. For example, Xero HQ’s smart alerts offer true insight into what clients are (and aren’t!) doing, and this means you can take action quickly. This, plus the rest of the centralised Xero HQ feature set, gives you the flexibility to run your practice the way you want to.
That’s not all. We’ve got plenty of announcements planned for the official launch at Xerocon South. These include our most exciting new development: a suite of curated, Xero HQ apps. We’ve handpicked these apps to solve some of your biggest pain points as an accountant or bookkeeper. Additionally they all integrate directly with HQ, to really fuel your practice.
The Xero HQ Platform
Here’s some of what we’ve been working on. A lot of this is live in Xero HQ already, and some is on track to be completed soon. Jump into Xero HQ today to check it out right now.
Activity Feed
Get key insights about your clients with actionable alerts to see what needs to done and when. Combined with our Explorer feature, the Activity Feed means you’re always in the loop, and with alerts served up when you need them, you can be faster and more agile than ever before.
Explorer
Explorer provides client insights, simple, actionable and beautiful. It gives you a single view of industry classifications, banking relationships, and what apps your clients are using. And, as a holistic view across your Xero-powered practice you can understand your entire client base in ways you’ve never seen before.
Building your practice
We’ve integrated your Xero partner status right into Xero HQ, so you never have to go elsewhere to check where you’re at, or how many points you need to move up a level. It’s all right at your fingertips. We’ve also made it easier to increase your profile with the Xero Advisor Directory. It’s one of the main ways clients can find your practice, so you want your listing to look as good as it possibly can. Control of your directory listing is now built right into Xero HQ, so you can take advantage of one of our top partner benefits much more easily.
Office 365 Integration
Seamless cloud connectivity with the apps you already use. Rather than chasing bits and pieces of client correspondence through your inbox, keep everything in one place by saving emails direct to your client notes in Xero HQ. Plenty of accountants and bookkeepers depend on Office 365 and Outlook to manage their day-to-day, and this integration means your work flows faster than ever.
Coming soon
Staff management
Xero HQ makes it easy to manage all your practice staff from one simple location. It also means your client files are only ever a couple of clicks away, and are always visible. No more hunting through menus!
Report templates
Save time with practice-wide report templates. Whether you’re doing management reporting or end of financial year compliance packs, you’ll get more efficient reporting with these templates across your entire practice.
No matter what your needs are, there’s a solution built right into Xero HQ. It’s everything you need, all in one place. And just like everything else Xero, it’s beautiful.
