3 reasons why PayPal loves Xerocon
It feels like only yesterday that we were in Austin for Xerocon. There are two things that we at PayPal all agree on. Firstly, this year is flying by and secondly, we can’t wait for Xerocon Atlanta! Xerocon is one of our favorite events on the conference calendar each year. We are thrilled to be part of the fun again in Atlanta as a Marquee Sponsor.
There are a lot of things that we’re looking forward to at this year’s Americas Xerocon, but the top three would have to be the people, the product news and the parties!
Connecting with people
The Xerocon team do a fantastic job in setting up a venue that enables attendees and exhibitors to connect. Exhibiting at Xerocon gives us the opportunity to talk to accounting and bookkeeping partners about how they can leverage the Xero and PayPal partnership in their practices. We love talking to them about how they can do so in order to improve practice efficiency and help their clients get paid faster.
Plus, you never know what surprises are in store when you stop by the PayPal booth. In Austin, it was our pleasure to give away a new Apple Watch to a very lucky attendee – none other than the very humorous and enthusiastic Will Lopez from AdvisorFI (he even put together a video celebrating his win)!
The agenda
Xerocon Austin had a robust agenda, and we expect that Atlanta will be no different. Each day was jam-packed with insights from the Xero leadership team, as well as industry leaders. It was great to hear from Keri Gohman and Herman Man on Xero’s vision and future plans. We’re looking forward to hearing more about Xero’s new features and how Xero partners can utilize them to streamline accounting for their customers.
The parties
It isn’t Xerocon without a party (or three). The welcome reception at the Xerocon Austin venue last year was a great opportunity to mix and mingle with Xero accounting partners over a drink or two. The exhibitor-sponsored party on Austin’s world famous Rainey Street was one to remember. Of course, Xerocon Austin went out with a bang with a wrap party complete with live music and live donkeys (you read that correctly). We can’t wait to see what fun the Xerocon team has in store for us in Atlanta!
